The fun, atmosphere and excitement of RACQ MotorFest returns Including our BMWCQ Show Of Excellence, on Sunday 14th June 2026,

Also remembering 2026 is the 50th anniversary of the Six series, Lets get a good representation for the big coupe,

We will need to assemble from around 7:00am at, 101 to 121 Newmarket road Windsor, so that we can enter as a group and be set up by about 8:00am All cars should be prepped and ready to be judged by no later than 9,00am. Public entry is from 10 AM

The event will be held at the iconic Brisbane Showgrounds and as always, it promises to have something for everyone.

In 2026, all the family favourites will return, including roving entertainment, market stalls, kids’ rides, food stalls and an array of wonderful prestige, vintage, unique and collector vehicles, as well as the latest in vehicle and transport technology.

Join club members in showing off your BMW Group car to the thousands of people who will be attending Motorfest!

Once again, We will again have an undercover display parking area (same location as last year).

You must be a financial member bringing a BMW Group car (BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce) to be part of the BMWCQ display. There are limited spaces available, so register now to avoid disappointment!

Display car registration/entry is free!

You must firstly register with RACQ. Entries open on the 9th March, 2026 Please click Event Registration Here

The venue has specified the following conditions for display vehicle registrants:

Display vehicles must bring their own drip tray/carpet square for ground protection (regardless of whether your car leaks fluids - this is an RNA requirement).
Display vehicles must carry a 1kg dry powder extinguisher. If you are attending as part of a club, 1 fire extinguisher per 20 vehicles is sufficient.
Display vehicles must have the fuel cap secured and not removed while on display.

RACQ registration is open Now & close 26th mid May, or earlier, should the event capacity be reached. Register now to avoid disappointment!

After completing your entry with RACQ, you must also register on the BMWCQ website so that we know you are attending and can keep you updated with information. Simply click on the green "Register button,

The Annual General Meeting for BMW Club Queensland Incorporated will take place on Friday, 8th May 2026.

You must be a financial member to vote or nominate for a position.

The AGM will commence at 7.00 pm, when the election of office bearers will take place.

Nominations are invited for all Committee positions by filling in the attached nomination form which is available here.

If you cannot attend the AGM a Proxy Form is attached here.

Nominations to participate on the Club’s committee must be received by the Club Secretary, Scott Knack, by close of business, 5.00pm, on Friday the 24th April 2026 to be considered valid.

Proxy forms may be received on the day of the AGM, prior to 6:00pm (however, to facilitate the orderly running of the meeting, it would be appreciated if these could be emailed before the holding of the AGM).

A leisurely sunset drive, leaving from the Salisbury Hotel, 668 Toohey Rd, Salisbury QLD driving through country roads, in time for dinner at Bottle Tree Hotel, 664 Glamorgan Vale Road, Glamorgan Vale, QLD.

It’s time to get your entry in for this year's Regularity Challenge - the event where we raise funds for our chosen charity. It's a fun, relaxed day and, just by participating, you can actually make a real difference in someone's life.

This event is open to the public. It is Round 2 of the BMWCQ 2026 Motorsport Competition and a round of the ICC.ICC clubs and their members are especially encouraged to enter this relaxed and enjoyable event.

The past eight BMWCQ Charity Day events have raised in excess of $100,000 for local, well deserving charities. Now, with your support, and that of our sponsors, we will be able to add to that total.

What Is a Regularity?

1. A Regularity event is ideal for all levels of driver from experienced to novice and any car is suitable for this event.

2. Regularity is about driving consistently to the lap time that you nominate. You will get one timed practice session so you can decide on a lap time to nominate.

3. You score points for every tenth of a second you are away from that time. The person with the lowest accumulated score for the day will be the event winner,

The Rules:

1. The rules and scoring details may be viewed at this LINK. There is no "break-out time" and cars will be seeded into groups according to nominated lap time.

2. Please read this important information regarding on-track safety.

Entry Information:

1. Entry fee is $195 per car. Registration cut-off is midnight 23 June 2026.

2. Registered and unregistered cars are allowed.

3. You will need a current Driver Licence and a RACERS Clubman licence (single event $50 or annual $125).

4. A Westhold timer will be provided if you do not have your own.

5. If your car has Queensland registration, you are advised to obtain a CTP 'Rally Extension' from your CTP insurance provider.

SCORRING

You will be scored on your best lap time of each session and proposed 5 sessions,

Safety Equipment and Clothing:

1. A fire extinguisher is recommended but not compulsory.

2. A helmet that complies with or exceeds standard AS1698 is required.

3. Clothing must provide neck to wrist to ankle cover. e.g. a race suit or long-sleeved shirt, long pants and closed in shoes. Avoid synthetic clothes due to their flammability.

4. All vehicles on track must have at least one tow hook fitted.

Preparation:

Please read this document for all the basic requirements applicable to your car and yourself. Ensure you bring sufficient water/fluids to keep yourself hydrated.

Noise Limits:

These ar strictly enforced and all vehicles must be below 95 db to proceed onto the track.

Food and Drinks:

1. Food (including breakfast rolls) will be available at the Pit Cafe. The cafe also stocks a wide variety of drinks such as coffee, tea, soft drinks etc.

2. Please ensure you bring sufficient water/fluids to keep yourself hydrated.

Passenger Laps:

There will be a dedicated passenger session; first out after the lunch break; passenger rides at $25 for 4 laps. Proceeds will go directly to the charity collection. you will need to register with the BMWCQ Table. Have or borrow a helmet and organise a participating car to take you out;

We are also looking for extra raffle prizes for the day so, if you or your business can provide anything to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Why not ask your employer to sponsor you for the day. If you would also like to help sell some raffle tickets, please get in touch.

We are pleased to invite you to our annual Charity Day Breakfast & Happy Laps at Lakeside Park. All proceeds will be added to our charity donation.

Happy Laps are always great fun and a chance to drive your car at a higher pace than regular road speeds. Plus, you also get a fully cooked breakfast included in your registration!!!

If you don't wish to participate in our Regularity Challenge main event, then why not come and experience the iconic Lakeside motorsport circuit by doing Happy Laps!

Entry Fees:

Entry is just $50 for each person Driving including a hot breakfast and 30 minutes of Happy Laps. This is a fixed price. There is no discount for happy laps only, breakfast can be purchased separately for passenger/spectators for only $30. SUNDAY 5TH JULY 2026 @ QLD RACEWAY

Access to the Venue: Sunday 5th July - Gates will open from 6am for all display vehicles. Each vehicle will be provided with an event sticker designating their age grouping. Display finishes around 4pm Sunday.

Vehicle Display Categories, Grouped by Build Era.

1. Classic and Performance Cars, Pre 1940, 1940-1992 and 1993 to Present Day.

2. Race Cars, Pre 1940, 1940-1992 and 1993 to Present Day.

3. Motorcycles, Pre 1945 and 1945 to Present Day.

Judging Entry: Judging is optional but requires a pre-committed entry by THURSDAY

All display entrants will receive a complimentary Programme, also containing the weekend’s schedule of race events and grids. Judging will be held during Sunday morning and early afternoon.

Head Judges will be Mr Kevin Bartlett, our Club Patron and Mr Don Thallon, Past Club President. Judging

Prizes: Awards’ presentation for judged cars and motorcycles is Sunday afternoon.

There will be 1st place winners in each Build era category, for both Cars and Motorcycles.

Each winner shall receive a stylish, personalised 1st place trophy and certificate, signed by Kevin Bartlett, plus a

$1000 novelty cheque on the day. The $1000 cash prizes will be deposited to each winner’s bank account following the event.

**Judging, awards, categories and prizes are at the absolute discretion of the HRCC and Judges.

This track day is Round 3 of the 2026 BMWCQ Motorsport Competition. It is a half day sprint event, sponsored by rx automotive, and is being held at iconic Lakeside Park on Friday, 28 August 2026. You must participate in at least two events to win in any category,

As a result of our great relationship with Lakeside and rx automotive's sponsorship support, entry fees is just $185 for financial members of BMWCQ and financial members of ICC and Invited Clubs. Non-club members are also welcome to enter at $225.

Please note that to keep costs down we are hiring Lakeside till 1:30pm only. Lakeside will guarantee that each entrant will participate in 3 sessions before lunch and 1 session after lunch. The added benefit is that everyone will be able to pack up a little earlier and beat the Friday afternoon traffic.

Not a member? See the Non-member Special Offer! It's not too late to join now if you would like to be a part of a great club. Don't own a BMW? No problem - you are most welcome to join BMWCQ as an Associate Member and enjoy all the benefits of club membership.

There is an ENTRE GROUP open to all drivers that feel they are new to track events. Entre Group drivers will not be timed and will be lead for five laps in each session by Simon Harrex who is a very experienced race car driver. Passing will not be permitted as this group is intended as an introduction to track day events. Drivers must meet the normal track day requirements for a licence and attire.

Program Outline:

1. This is a Sprint Event. Sprints are not racing. Read more HERE.

2. At least three morning sessions and an afternoon session are planned. Each session will be an out lap, five timed laps and a warm down lap (not applicable to Entre Group). There will be four groups in each session. The full program, group allocations and procedures for the day will be advised prior to the event.

3. Time permitting, we plan to run passenger laps over the lunch break OR at the end of the day. Passengers are required to sign in with RACERS, wear an approved helmet, long sleeved top, long pants and closed in shoes.

Full Day Entry Fees: (TBC)

1. $185 for members of BMWCQ and ICC clubs.

An early morning event at Bowdens Headquarters for breakfast, product demonstration and there Iconic E24, exclusive display to celebrate 50 years of the six series, exclusively for BMWCQ,

There will be a convoy drive to the destination leaving from BP Caboolture North service centre on the M1 at 5am for 5.45 departure sharp.

Its not something that comes around everyday, If your a Six Series, Classic, SIV, or just a plain BMW enthusiast, don't miss This one,

Duration approximately 4 hours, followed by a drive to a lunch destination TBA

Motorsport: Challenge Bathurst Regularity 2026 (21 Nov 2026)

Expression of Interest

There have been some important updates to Challenge Bathurst.

BMW entrants will now be in a BMW Drivers Club Melbourne group/part‑group and are expecting to be placed with like‑minded drivers to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and well‑matched experience at Challenge Bathurst.

BMW entrants will not be joining the the Z Car Club QLD as they have already filled their group.

If you are interested in completing in this event please read the following and register your interest NOW.

Full payment is required on or before 1 May to secure your place. Once you have completed your expression of interest you will receive an invoice from BMWDCM. Payment must be made as soon as possible to lock in your spot.

BMWDCM currently have 19 EOIs, and places will fill quickly. If you want to participate or know anyone else who would like to be part of this group, please encourage them to register and pay the invoice — once the BMW club spots are allocated, they’re gone and you will be waiting 12 months for another opportunity to drive this iconic track at speed.

Public registrations will open after 1 May, and once that happens, remaining places will be taken very fast. You don't want to miss out.

Challenge Bathurst is an invitation-only regularity event and is a fantastic opportunity to tick off one of your bucket list items and drive on one of the best circuits in the world. You only need a level 2 or above Motorsport Australia licence, you don't need to have a fully prepared race car - any vehicle that you use at a normal sprint day will be eligible as long as it is a BMW and passes scrutineering.

Track time is 120 minutes across six sessions (three 20 minute sessions on Saturday and three 20 minute sessions on Sunday).

The cost of $2180 per entrant. Your spot will only be secured once full payment has been received.

Once you have made the full payment to Challenge Bathurst, all refunds and cancellations are subject to Challenge Bathurst's cancellation policy.

What is a Regularity ?

A regularity is a timed competition event, where you nominate a lap time which you need to try to match each lap. This is not racing door to door, but allows you to drive at a pace that is comfortable for you and your car.

Only current members of BMW Affiliated clubs are able to drive Challenge Bathurst.

Full details will be sent out on the running of the event in July with further paperwork.

ALL paperwork needs to be completed or you will be deemed as not entered and you will miss your spot.

Full Entry forms are not yet available. We will send all the necessary paper work out as soon as we receive them.

We will also need to supply 10 flag marshals to help on the Thursday and Friday.

Please ask your fellow club members or family members to come along and help out. Arrive early and volunteer as a flag marshal and help those who normally help you drive. Please remember without volunteers you cannot have fun on the track, so this is your way of giving back. All volunteers will be offered free camping or accommodation at the Uni at a very reasonable rate.You will need to find y.our own accommodation and transportation to get there.

Any drivers in the Regularity volunteering on the Thursday 19/11/26 and Friday 20/11/26 will be able to go through scrutineering on Wednesday.
