Tragically in 2016, BMWCQ lost one of its great characters, Mike Walsh. To honour Mike and his commitment to club life we will run an annual "Mike Walsh Memorial" run. This is the first one. We will celebrate what it was that Mike loved most about being in the club, the driving.
This drive will be a for a full day. Feel free to come for the whole day or as long as you like. We will be leaving the Park Ridge Tavern at 8.15am on Sunday the 21st of May 2017 and heading south to the Queen Mary Falls at Killarney for some morning tea. We then head further west to the Clifton Arms Hotel for lunch. After a great meal, a drink and a chat we head north to Esk for a short stop in the main part of town and you'll have time to refresh and refuel (if needed) beofre heading to our final destination in the afternoon at the "Finnegan's Chin" Irish bar at the Corner of Settlement Road and Samford Road, Keperra. where we will raise our glass to our friend, Mike Walsh.
Please come along and join us for all or part of the day. You can even meet us at the tavern from 4.00pm.
We will be departing the Park Ridge Tavern, Mount Lindsay Highway, Park Ridge, at 8.15am sharp so please make sure you are there for the 8.00am briefing.
