Due to a change in bookings, we are pleased to announce the return of the popular Night Session Regularity at Qld Raceway.
A chance for all levels of driver to enjoy some track time at a slower pace than a normal full sprint session, all under lights.
With a Regularity its about driving in a more consistant manner than straight speed. After a practice run, you nominate the time you want to aim to for the rest of the night. You score points for every tenth of a second you are away from that time on each lap. Person with the lowest score at the end of the night is the winner. There will be a trophy for the winner.
We will have our own session on the night, so spaces are limited. Don't delay and enter now so you don't miss out.
The August general meeting will be held at
Sommer Car Care, 38 Finsbury Street, Newmarket, on Friday, 21 August.
(if COVID-19 Restrictions Permit at the time)
Please assemble from 6:30pm so we can start the meeting at 7:00pm.
Our monthly meetings are an excellent opportunity to communicate directly with your Committee, be informed about Club developments and have your say about the Club's future.
You also have the opportunity to hear about the latest technologies and servicing procedures as well as mixing with your friends, old and new.
If you're thinking about joining the Club, then come along and meet some of the members, ask questions and see what it's all about.
Stay on after the meeting for some nibbles and a drink or a coffee or try one of the many local cafes or restaurants.
Time for another Skid Pan Session, and this time back to our usual format with 14 participants. What better way to celebrate the start of spring than some fun on the skid pan.
If you are new to the club or haven't done one of our skid pan sessions before, they are an excellent way to learn and practice car control and how recognise when your car may go into a skid situation, and how to react. All done at low speed, in a safe enviroment, under the watchful eye of a qualified instructor.
The cost is still just $125 per entry. The link below will take you to the club website to enter and pay. Spaces will sell out fast so don't delay, enter and pay now to secure your space.
