We would like to invite ladies of all ages, driving experience and confidence levels to attend the Motorsport Australia - Women's Introduction to Motorsport Program being held at Norwell Motorplex.

This is a fabulous opportunity to learn some fundamentals of motorsport, hear about the wide variety of events out there you can participate in (it's not all about speed, noise and power) and ask all the questions you've been thinking of.

This day is focused on supporting you and one of the best advantages of the day is meeting ladies who are currently participating in Motorsport. These ladies will be there to help you! The list of ladies will be announced very soon but is a diverse group who have some amazing experiences to share and who are excited to team up to help you on your motorsport journey.

Everyone's journey is different so whether your journey is a few events here and there, trying some grassroots competitions like the our Club RX series or ICC or you are looking to take on every track and event you can get to, this is a brilliant starting point.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about this event please contact Christine Murphy, ICC Coordinator on icc@bmwcq.com.au or 0411 467 745 or direct to Motorsport Australia via the details in the link below.

Below is the link to the event on Motorsport Australia website as well as the registration form. You must register and pay direct to Motorsport Australia. We ask that you then register here so we know who is attending from our Club.

Supported by the Queensland Government, the program is designed for women looking to get a start in motorsport alongside other women.

Set across a welcoming and safe environment at the purpose-built Norwell Motorplex driving facility, it is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of motorsport and to network with likeminded women.

With a brief introduction to car preparation and car control techniques, driving activities will include skid span sessions and a semi-competitive motorkhana.

While our experience instructors will lead the motorsport activities, women currently participating in club motorsport will be on hand to help show you the ropes and answer your questions about starting out in the sport. The event will also include a networking lunch.

Enjoy the first day of your motorsport journey in a fun, safe and affordable environment from the comfort of your own car.
