We are returning to Lakeside in late November for our last track day, before the summer break, for another of our traditional Friday Sprint events, again supported by our Motorsport sponsor, Btuned. Whether first time novice or experienced racer, member or not, BMW driver or other, come out and enjoy our favorite track.
We had a large number of first time track attendees at our last day, and we hope to see you back as well as all our regular attendees.
If you haven't attended one of our club track days before, don't miss the chance to attend and experience your car more in the way it was intended, all in an open and friendly environment. You don't need a track car, as long as your car is in good mechanical condition, with good tires and brakes, it will be fine.
We know your first time at a track event can be a daunting experience. To help with this we have an excellent mentoring program where one of our experienced drivers will take all interested, for a track walk in the morning, where he will talk you through all the different parts of the track, showing approach, braking, exit points and general ways to approach driving the track.
Our experienced drivers are also happy to answer any questions you may have and help with information on car set up, if you wish to take your track days a little more serious. So don't delay, get your entry in now, you will be so glad you did.
