Afternoon Regularity Challenge sponsored by Hyper BMW Powersport - Lakeside

What better way to wind down Motorsport for the year than a slower pace  afternoon Regularity Challenge.  We have our own grid so a great chance to enjoy some track fun with other club mates.

The nature of these events is such, they are ideal for all levels of driver, from novice, yet challenging enough for the experienced track attendee.  If you were at the SOE on Sunday, the cars competing there on track were doing similar type speeds to a Regularity event.

All vehicles are eligible, road registered or not.  The idea of a Regularity event is driving at consistent pace not a sprint.  After a practice session, you nominate a time you want to drive to, for the rest of the afternoon.  You receive points for your lap times away from that nominated time.

The person at the end of the day with the lowest score is announced winner.  Sounds easy, its not as easy as it sounds.  No passengers are allowed, and drivers will require a RACERS clubman license, available from the the racers.world website, either daily or yearly.  You will require a helmet and neck to wrist to ankle clothing and closed shoes..  A standard approved motorcycle helmet is acceptable.  A long sleve cotton shirt, and jeans are acceptable.  The club has a Long sleeve cotton Plolo shirt suitable for track use.

To make the afternoon safer for all, there will be a minimum allowed lap time of 66 seconds.  Meaning all lap times should be slower than 66 seconds.
