A Happy New Year to everyone and wishing all a year of PB's. What better way to kick off the year than an early track day at our favourite track - Lakeside. Join us for round 2 of our RX Automotive Sprint Series on Friday 27 January, yes the day after the Australia Day holiday. Make it a long week end and come out for some track fun.
If you are a regular attendee, I don't need to tell you what a great day they are. If you are new to the club or haven't attended for a while, don't miss the chance to share some track fun with some great, friendly, like minded people for a chance to drive your car more in the way it was intended.
Our track days are open to all levels of driver from novice to experienced track drivers, BMW Club members or not, BMW and Non BMW drivers alike. Both road and dedicated track cars allowed.
As a club member, by attending you will be elligable for points in the trophy series. You never know, you may just take home a nice trophy at the end of the series next year. The attached file below has details of our Sprint Series Classes and how points are scored. Unfortunately only BMWCQ members are elidgible for points in the series. Good news is, you can still be a BMWCQ Associate Member, even if you don't own a BMW, and score points as well. Good reason to join.
As usual, our morning track walk with one of our experienced drivers showing the correct way to approach driving the track, will be happening in the morning before we are on track.
In the interest of giving our attendees the best experience and enjoyment at our track days we have decided to make attendance at these track walks mandatory for all novices, but also highly recommended for all levels of driver. As usual there will be passenger rides available at lunchtime, some restrictions apply.
Don’t delay and enter early to avoid disappointment, like usual, it will be popular.
As a way to put back to our faithful supporters, we have kept entry costs low at just $185 for a full day of track fun for members and our affiliated clubs.
